Administrative History | Hugh Macleod was born in 1730 and educated at King’s College, Aberdeen, whence he graduated MA in 1755. He served as librarian there from 1756 to 1759. He was appointed to the Chair of Ecclesiastical History at Glasgow University in 1778, and was awarded a DD by King’s College in 1780. He died in 1809. |
