Cargill had not been honoured so that a power of attorney in nephew’s favour to replace that previously given to Cargills was being sent with instructions. On reverse is copy of extract from another letter to nephew of 25 April 1774 about another bill from Messrs. Cargill which may be dishonoured also. |
