TitleLetter: A. Irvine to Charles Gordon
Date1788
Extent1 item
DescriptionLetter from A. Irvine to Charles Gordon. Suggests that Gordon should visit London next year with his wife. Irvine is to make a tour himself, including a trip to Scotland; now that his health has improved he will also be able to attend the House of Commons again. He cannot understand why Skene supports the opposition: ‘there appears no possible chance of a change. Except by Death in a certain quarter - which it is treason to mention’.
