He has asked George Barclay to remit sums advanced for funeral and other expenses and discussed money sent to be regarded as part of son’s patrimony. Mentions abolition of heritable jurisdictions, money taken by ‘rebells’, who had left him alone. Sisters are to send linen; sugar, but not coffee, requested in return.
