DescriptionObligation: John Gordon of Buthlaw, as factor for James Barclay of Cairnies, appointed to manage Barclay’s estate and affairs in Sotland during the latter’s residence in Jamaica, in favour of William Moir of Lonmay. Respects supply of water to Moir’s corn mill at Savock of Lonmay which may be affected by the recent erection of a corn mill at Cairnies served by water passing through Lonmay and agrees to conditions suggested by arbiters William Cuming of Puttulie and William Fraser, factor to Lord Saltoun, respecting use of dam and water lead (perished).
