| Administrative History | Sir William Forbes of Craigievar, Aberdeenshire (1660 - c.1714) married Margaret, daughter of Hugh Rose of Kilravock, Inverness in 1684. He was Rector of King's College, Aberdeen, in 1709. His second son succeeded him and later was also Rector of King's College. |
