Description | Letter in French from Frankfurt; the signature and the name on the docket are both illegible [possibly 'Rathes' or similar]. The adressee's name is written as 'Monsieur Roubet' in the salutation and 'Monsieur Roube' in the address. The writer thanks Roubet for the trouble he has taken and tells him that since his departure various persons have been taken prisoner. Ends with the hope that Roubet is in good health.
