| Description | Letter written by John Novell, Hillington, to Sir Simeon Stuart, Baronet, 'to be left at Mr. Wards Bookseller in the Temple Lane London'. Reports on books and records relating to Stuart's family which had been in writer's custody, including Latin psalm book, compiled for 'Augustine Stuart', bearing the Stuart crest, and Stuart's pedigree; the pedigree had been entrusted to Sir Richard Gipps of Suffolk for completion, but he had died and negotiations were in progress for its return by his executor 'Mr. Harvey of Cockfield'. |
