Administrative HistoryHarry Gordon, also known as the 'Laird of Inversnecky' spent a record 16-year run at the Aberdeen Beach Pavilion. He was a contemporary of other Scottish music hall stars such as Harry Lauder, Stanley Baxter, Rikki Fulton, Jimmy Logan, and Chic Murray.
Custodial HistoryAfter Harry Gordon died, this collection passed to the comedian Jimmy Logan. It remained with him until he died, with Logan's widow donating the collection to the University of Aberdeen's Elphinstone Institute.
