| Description | A4, black and white photocopy of a hand drawn cartoon. Photograph of MCP-01 that has been doctored to show the platform as a 3-star Bed & Breakfast, boasting signs advertising its facilities; pool table, scuba diving, TV and video, fishing off the helideck, high teas etc.
Author's explanation: This relates to the time when the MCP-01 compressors had been commissioned. They were the biggest in the North Sea and were very high profile. MCP-01 was inundated with visitors and VIPs for months until the novelty wore off. |
