The Women's Dramatic Society was started by Frances Mordaunt, MA 1919, who later married John Fraser of the Classics Department at Aberdeen University.

Photographs of three productions staged in one evening: 'The Aulis Difficulty', by Maurice Baring; 'The Golden Doom', by Lord Dunsany; and 'The Land of Heart's Desire', by W.B. Yeats, 1919; Newscutting of report by J. Aberdein on production of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', 1918.
