Description | Weekly minutes (including one enclosure, an abstract of the accounts of the Clarion Club 1908 - 1909) giving information about the topics of the lectures, the names of the lecturers and contributors, business matters and the social events of the Club.
Included is the decision to give up the rooms at 4 Queen Street to look for "a room at less rent" on 6 February 1909, notes of the discussion on what assets the club has and who can look after the furniture and effects over the summer, before finally on 24th Sept 1909 there is a proposal (not accepted) to dissolve the Club. Thereafter there is only one other entry in the minute book. |
