Administrative History | Francis W. C. Turreff was born in Aberdeen in 1873 and graduated MA from the University there in 1893. He continued his studies at the Theological College of the Scottish Episcopal Church, Edinburgh, and his first post was at St. Ternan’s, Banchory (Aberdeenshire). He was appointed minister at Ayr in 1897, and moved to All Saints’, Fyvie (Aberdeenshire), in 1903. Ill health forced him to retire in 1937. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the boys’ and men’s clubs in his congregation, and was a keen botanist and naturalist. He died in 1940. |
