Administrative HistoryWilliam Tawse lived in Leochel-Cushnie parish in Aberdeenshire in 1939. He does not seem to have been associated with Aberdeen University.

The parish of Leochel, Aberdeenshire, belonged originally to the Priory of Monymusk. The first recorded minister was John Mercer in 1574. Cushnie parish had James Paterson as its reader in 1567. The two parishes were united in 1795.
