Source	Nothing is known of Patrick Massie. However, the material was deposited by David Lillie, whose father was assistant schoolmaster at Ellon around 1825, where the headmaster was a P. Massie. David Lillie's son and daughter were both graduates of Aberdeen University.
Description	Journal containing notes on weather, farming, and domestic recipes: includes section on astrology, palmistry, and physiognomy.
