| Description | This series of papers relate to the management of the College's relationship with Marischal College. The two colleges have gone through a number of disputes, from riots amongst their students to division of financial support. The series contains papers which document the rights and privileges of both colleges and the visitations of both colleges by the Scottish University Commission. A large component of this series, however, are papers relating to the union of the colleges from initial discussions and planning to the final union in 1860. |
