| Custodial History | Three of the documents were labelled 'New Charter Chest 49/56', which does not match up with any of our known catalogues. The papers at some point have been removed and given the reference MSK 58/1 - 4, which would add these documents to volume MSK 58 as it contains the procuration accounts for the period 1750 - 1767, although the volume and these papers were not stored together. However it is likely that these items have been originally mis-numbered 'new charter chest 49' and should have been 'new charter chest 29', which contains papers relating to the sale of superiorities during the 1750s. The fourth document has no old reference numbers or identifiers but has been stored with the three discussed above. |
