| Description | Registered contract of wadsett betwixt Mr William Forbes of Craigievar on the one part and Patrick, Bishop of Aberdeen, and the moderators of the whole presbyeries of the Diocese or Synod of Aberdeen on the other part whereby for the sum of ten thousand merks collected and paid by the said Bishop and moderators the said Mr William Forbes wadsetts the lands of Cairndradlen [Cairnedradlane] Mill thereof and Salmon fishing on the water of the Don thereto belonging lying within the parish of Kinellar and Sheriffdom of Aberdeen for the sustaining a Professor of Divinity in the said College.
