| Administrative History | Balnakettle belonged to the College by the original Foundation Charter, it appears from the title deeds that they granted a charter on the 22nd October 1666, in favour of Sir John Forbes of Waterton, retaining the superiority. The superiority of Balnakettle was sold in 1752 to Sir Archibald Grant.
