| Description | Signed minutes of the University Court, 1861 - 1889, 1960 - 1988.
Prior to publication, the minutes of the University Court are checked for accuracy and edited for spelling, grammar, pagination. When this process is complete, the minutes are 'signed off', by the Principal or other Court official. As a result of this editing process, the signed minutes normally carry annotations in one or more hands. |
| Accruals | Further papers have been added to fill gaps in the series from duplicate sets found prior to the move to the new Library building in 2011 (for example, UNIVERSITY 1408) and occasionally from different departments, most recently in 2014 when additional copies from the University Secretary's office were passed to Special Collections. Since 2004, minutes of Court meetings have been passed to Special Collections on an annual basis by Policy, Planning and Governance but these are not signed. |
