| Administrative History | Dr Douglas Harvey (M.A., B.Sc., D.Ph.) was a student at Rowett between 1923 - 1927 and worked in the Kenyan Agricultural Service until 1950. Returning to Aberdeen he joined the Commonwealth Bureau of Animal Nutrition and published the report 'Family Diet and Health in Pre-War Britain: A Dietary and Clinical Survey (Report to the Carnegie United Kingdom Trust from the Rowett Research Institute, 1955)'. Harvey became Director of the Bureau in 1960. |
