Description | Colour-tinted slide shows the 'intercrossing of hybrid with his pure ancestral forms'. Label on top of pane reads: 'Genetics' and 'Slide No. 20'. At top of the image the words 'intercrossing of hybrid with his pure ancestral forms' appear. To the top left of the slide, the title 'Genetics Slide No. 20' appears, and on the top right, the title 'Pisum (pea) Type One colour dominates brown > blue Ratio 3:1'. There are three sets of diagrams each with their own label. First set is labelled 'intercrossing with the dominant colour'. Below this diagram the title reads 'intercrossing with the dominant colour affords no information about the hybrid nature. The results as in the breeding of dominant colour. Second set is labelled 'for comparison: inheritance of the pure, dominant colour'. Third set is labelled 'intercrossing with the recessive colour'.
