Administrative History | 'Town and Gown', an updated version of the 1933 performance, was staged in the September of that year to coincide with the British Association for the Advancement of Science meeting hosted in Aberdeen. The first two nights of the show, held at His Majesty's Theatre from the 10-15 September 1934 were "Special B.A. Nights".
Although Gala Week took place in April 1934 as usual, there was no student show performance, and a county concert party performed in its place, including a Sunday evening concert at the Capitol Cinema.
