Administrative History | In 1921 'Mary Anne', a pre-historic 'monster' designed by VMM Watson and carried by 12 students up and down Union Street, was introduced as a way of promoting the first show put on by students for the public, 'Mock Trial'. The trial centred around a breach-of-promise case and featured GHS Peterkin, George Mitchell, Alex. Linklater and Mary Esslemont. 'Mock Trial' was performed a number of times throughout Gala Week. |
