| Description | Ledgers with payments to and from various Brucklay accounts, such as buildings, insurance, gardens, gamekeepers, larders, ministers' stipends and payments for parochial buildings.
The first 16 volumes of the series (1877 - 1904) each cover several years. From April 1904, each ledger volume is for one financial year. Several volumes of these annual ledgers are not present (sse below). Missing volumes: 1905/6, 1907/8, 1912/13, 1917 - 1921.
The Brucklay Estates Interest ledger contains entries from 1907 to 1914 but is mostly blank. |
