DescriptionFolder of material collected by James F. Mackay, Convener, relating to the student show Spic and Span from 1936. The name Stephen Mitchell appears at the top of a number of the papers.

1. Large colour poster advertising show;
2. Programme with adverts for performance at Tivoli Theatre, 13 Jan 1936 and listing songs and performers;
3. Triangular poster advertising show at the Tivoli as a twice nightly revue in aid of new University Union;
4. Typescript copies of song from show: 'The Tale of the Flea', and also finale;

Typescript copies of songs from show, bundled together and with names of performers added for each song: Opening Chorus, Baby Take A Bow, Cinema Number, Has Anyone Seen My Little Black Brolly, Brolly, Nirvana, Rhythm of the Waltz scene - A Moonlit Terrace, I Wonder Why - seaside number, Roses of Picardy;
6. Running order for show, 13-18 Jan 1936, listing songs/sketches performed in each act and by whom, bundled together with list of names, addresses and telephone numbers of cast and crew;
