| Custodial History | "On 23 September 1663 Robert Innes in Old Aberdeen conveyed to Alexander Scroggie Minister of St Machar and Master of the Hospital and his successors the subjects in the Chanonry formerly the Manse of the Precentor of Aberdeen, which grant was confirmed by charter of William Gray precentor in Aberdeen dated 1st October 1624. In 1759 the Managers of the Hospital conveyed thesde subjects to Professor John Lumsden and others for payment of a feuduty of five bolls of bere at Candlemas yearly." (Bain) |
