Amelia Cadenhead (1818-1852), also a descendant of Alex Cadenhead (fl 1750) and daughter of Alexander Cadenhead (1786-1854), procurator fiscal for Aberdeen, married Francis Ogston (1803-1887), physician and professor of medical jurisprudence at Aberdeen University.
They had four children:
