| Description | Journal entitled "D'aprés Nature par A. Ogston" kept by Alexander Ogston during a trip to Norway in 1882 with his wife Isabella. On the first page Ogston states that this journal is reproduced in a better form in 'Scattered Recollections' but evidence of this book has yet to be found. The spellings of some of the place names have been corrected where possible but have been included as they are written in the volume.
