1) Article entitled 'The birth of the international organisations - with memories' by Professor Mallard as published in SCOPE, volume 3, number 2, June 1994. This article is a modified version of the plenary lecture first given at the Golden Jubilee congress of the Health Protection Agency/Institute of Physical Sciences in Medicine, Bristol on 8 September 1994.
2)Page photocopied from the Institue of Physical Sciences in Medicine Annual Review 2007 which states that the International Union for Physical and Engineering Sciences in Medicine is participating in an ICSU iniative 'Science for Health and Well-Being'(IUPESM). Note handwritten by Professor Mallard 'excellent! All the struggles were worth it!'.
3)Letter to Professor Mallard from Christine Tonge, Editor of SCOPE congratulating him on his award of an Honorary fellow of the Institute of Physical Sciences in Medicine to mark the 50th anniversary of the Health Protection Agency and requesting a photograph for a subsequent article in SCOPE.
4)Letter from Professor Mallard to Christine Tonge, Editor of SCOPE dated 25 September 1993 thanking her for her previous letter, to explain his enclosed photograph and with a suggestion for a future article for SCOPE. (Letter copied onto the back of an advertising letter from AirUK dated September 1993)
5)Letter from Christine Tonge, Editor of SCOPE to Professor Mallard dated 21 February 1994 with a plan to publish his plenary lecture given at the last annual conference in the July edition of SCOPE 1994 and requesting any accompanying literature .
6) Letter to Professor Mallard from Professor Gary Fullerton, Secretary General, International Organisation of Medical Physics (IOMP) dated 1 July 1998 requesting permission to publish the article published in SCOPE, volume 3, number 2, June 1994 in an historical document being produced by the IOMP.
7)Letter from Professor Mallard to Professor Gary Fullerton, Secretary General, International Organisation of Medical Physics (IOMP) dated 31 July 1998 thanking him for including his article in the history archives of the IOMP and various other business (copy printed on back of M & D Technology Ltd headed paper).
8)Letter to Christine Tonge, Editor of SCOPE from Professor Mallard and dated 10 August 1994 thanking her for publishing his article, praising her for her efforts with SCOPE magazine and a News of Members item with the University of Hull awarding Professor Mallard a D.Sc.
9)Front page of Medical Physics World, volume 14, December 1998 mentioning Professor Mallard's article on the history of the IOMP also underlined is a paragraph about establishing a more generous awards regime.
