The first page is a letter to Professor Mallard from John C.A.Raison, Deputy Director of the NRPB about the first meeting of the Ad Hoc Advisory Group on NMR Imaging on 13 November 1979. The letter contains information on the meeting and the date for the next meeting. Professor Mallard has a large number of handwritten notes about the purpose of the meeting including a list of potential committee members. The next six pages are the handwritten notes taken by J.M.S.Hutchinson from a meeting in Nottingham of the NMR NRPB Committee about the setting up of the ad hoc committee dated 27 September 1979. Letter to Dr J.C.A.Raison from Dr I.R.Young(E.M.I) about likely boundary conditions for the use of NMR machines, Professor Mallard has written a number of thoughts on to the paper. Finally there is an agenda for the second meeting of rhe advisory committee on January 25 1980.
