Description | Series of correspondance between various Professors of Medical Physics and Professor Mallard about conference in Tieste and Dr Travares, Radiologist in Chief, Harvard Medical School. 1) First letter from Professor Traveras' Havard Medical School dated 17 July 1981 thanking Professor Mallard for his hospitality and inviting him to give a talk at a meeting in New Orleans 12-16 April 1982 with preliminary title 'The present status of NMR clinical imaging - The Aberdeen approach'. 2) Second letter from Professor Traveras dated 25 September 1981 thanking Professor Mallard for offering to speak at the New Orleans meeting and inviting him to speak at a meeting at the 15th Annual Aubrey O. Hampton Lectureship, Massachussetts General Hospital 21 April 1982. The presentation would be on the same subject as the New Orleans but about 20 minutes longer. Q1-489 3) Third letter is from Professor Mallard to Professor Traveras thanking him for his invitation to speak at the 15th Annual Aubrey O. Hampton Lectureship but declining due to pressure of work. Q1-489 4) Forth letter from Professor J. Stewart Orr, Medical Physics, Royal Postgraduate Medical School, London dated 11 November 1981 asking Professor Mallard what he is planning to say at the Trieste meeting to avoid any overlap. 5) Fifth letter from Professor Allen, Department of Physics, The University of Nottingham dated 13 January 1982 again asking Professor Mallard what he is planning to say at the Trieste meeting to avoid any overlap. 6) Final letter to Dr Juan Traveras dated 5 May 1982 thanking him for his kindness during the New Orleans meeting.
