Professor Mallard is also included in the 'Discussion' which follows this paper along with Professor Lauterbur, Professor Mansfield and others. Has yellow post-it note attached to the front with a number of handwritten notes "Royal Society Symposium", "14/15 March 1979", "There are more copies of this at Woodend" and "The ~~ sent to the Science Museum". (A Mallard system Magnetic Resonance Imager (MRI) body scanner by M&D Technology, Aberdeen was donated to the Science Museum, London by St. Bartholomew's Hospital where it had been in clinical use until 1993.
