Volume 1 comprises a location map; abstract; introduction and requirements; summary of events; instrumentation; operating procedure; interpretation of records; personnel, charting; survey diary; and three appendices (table of delays, a table of C-O Corrections used and interchain comparison readings.
There are two volumes labelled 'Volume 2', one for each pipeline, each comprising sections entitled table of side scan sonar/ profiler results; sonar features of interest; sonar and profiler log with reference to P.K.; side scan sonar laybacks; profiler laybacks; table of profiler crossing rates. Both covers, and a few of the pages, are loose. The volume concerning pipeline 2 has a paper insert regarding the document numbers and microfilm.
Final volume entitled 'Frigg Pipeline Comparisons' and comprises an abstract; introduction; tables of comparisons (with 1979 results); and conclusions.
Report of the Landfall Survey Lines 1 and 2 that took place June 1980:
Includes covering letter from Mobell (Marine) Limited. Report itself comprises the client's requirements; an introduction; execution; results; conclusions; recommendations; and tables, annexes and drawings, including a daily activity log, cross sectional drawings and positional data.
Report of the ROV (remotely operated vehicle) survey of selected areas of the Frigg pipelines that took place June-July 1980:
Volume 1 comprises sections entitled introduction; equipment; survey procedure; data processing and interpretation; conclusions; and three appendices (personnel, diary of events and dive report summary).
Volumes 2 and 2a are detailed reports for pipeline 1 and 2 respectively, each comprising an introduction and results section, detailing any damage, freespans or debris. All contains some colour still photographs.

Outlines the techniques and findings of the surveys and the maintenance work carried out. Comprises an introduction, sections on all the surveys (acoustic, submersible, shore approach, riser survey), maintenance work, conclusions, and three appendices: comments on the pipeline results, comments on the freespans, and a submersible dive chart. |
