DescriptionReference file on MCP-01 and the Frigg Field for use by the publicity department. Includes an annotated Heliport Safety Brief checklist (with helicopter flight and safety vessel facts and statistics on reverse); brief timeline of the Frigg System 1964 - 1987 with two maps torn from an unknown brochure showing the fields and blocks in the North Sea. The plastic wallet was annotated "Claymore 45km away Piper was 52km away" and "Ivanhoe & Rob Roy hooked up via Tartan on 22/8/89. Operator Amerada Hess."; French and English language diagrams and tables displaying the location and division of owners/operators of the field glued to paper, some of which may have been cut out of the booklet 'The Frigg Gas Story'; field production data 1990-1991; information on the installation and function of MCP-01with photocopies of general arrangement drawings showing the platform; large poster 'Bringing Ashore the Gas' about the Frigg Field, pipelines and St Fergus Terminal (for fuller description please see MS 3801/2/4/20); facts and statistics about the pipeline and compression project; and information taken from trainees' documents giving basic location details about MCP-01, summary of telecommunications systems, nearby platforms and fields, and pipeline tie-in diagrams to the base of the platforms with handwritten annotations in French.

Photographs, all colour and approximately 10" x 8" or 8" x 8", undated but probably late 1970s-early 1980s unless otherwise specified.
