DescriptionThe manual submitted in response to regulations requiring offshore installations to have an Operational Safety Case submitted to and approved by the Health & Safety Executive. The ten sections, excluding appendices, are: Introduction And Summary; Installation Data, giving location, environmental and subsea data; Description Of Installation describing the layout, materials and various systems; Operations, including safety management; Pipeline And Umbilical Systems; Safety Systems, and Temporary Refuge, Evacuation, Escape & Rescue, both of which outline the systems in place, their location, operation and limitations; Design And Performance Standards; Identification And Assessment of Major Hazards, including risk assessment results; and Current Status & Future Operations.
