Description | Letter from John Ellis, Gray's Inn, London, to David Skene in which he describes Lord Northington's conservatory and states that he encloses a sketch of it; he is sorry to hear of Skene's troubles with the Commissioners for Sick and Hurt Seamen and promises to do what he can if Skene will send him the details; he has received specimen of tamarisk sertularia and asks whether Skene has some pheasant's tail coralline; he refers to work of Donati; asks for specimens of sponges and refers to his paper on them, 4 January 1766. |
