10 July - 30 September 1902 Attends Highland Society Show in Aberdeen; attends prayer meeting and Deacons' Court; a Mr Skinner of Madras Christian College gives an account of mission work in India at the Church; attends meeting of Presbytery at Kintore; buys a stot from John Walker at £13.5.0; attends Mrs Mackie's funeral and, in the evening, meeting of Session; the new cow calves; on 9 August they ride in the Coronation Day procession; the young folk go on a picnic at Bennachie - 'they had a very enjoyable day'; attends prayer meeting, Deacons' Court and meeting of Session; sees the Emslies at Easterton, Birnie, with Bella - while away they visit Pluscarden Priory and attend Church in Elgin; they thrash seed hay with the steam thrashing mill; attends evangelistic meetings; engages Elsie Thomson for the harvest at £4; sells three queys to Mr Alsop for £50; pulls turnips for the first time in the season; attends the unveiling of the memorial to Mr Dymock in the U.F.C.
