At the Annual Business Meeting on 16 March 1983, due to falling numbers, the club agreed to extend membership of the club to all members of University Staff, and to 'to members of the other Institutes of Higher Education in Aberdeen'. The name of the club formally changed to the 'Butchart Scottish Country Dance Class' following the Annual Business Meeting on 14 March 1984. However, by 1999 membership of the Club had declined to such an extent that an Extraordinary Business Meeting was held on 20 July and it was agreed to disband the club. |
