Description | Adams tells Sheila the story of Bruko (Jaabe's daughter) who bore another illegitimate child by the same man as before, some people from the village intervened and she was allowed back to her husband's household. After the news of another child Bruko became ill and was suspected of contracting AIDS, and was taken to hospital. The now three month old baby was in need guardian, so Adams decided to take on the child. Bruko doesn't have AIDS after the test came back; it was early stages of TB. At the end of the letter two sheets are of a translation of an extract in French and English. |
