Adams has found that Jaabe's daughter Ya is pregnant, but her fiancé is unwilling to keep the child as it is not his, the baby was born in Dakar and brought back to the village to be brought up by Jaabe's first wife. Ya's younger sister is also pregnant and has been taken to maternity in ?Balal, as some are worried the baby is not moving as it should. Wants to make a Soninke language book on fishing and has bought books on the subject to help. |
