Cardinal Wiseman was the first Archbishop of Westminster to be appointed as a result of the 'Papal Aggression' or restoration of Catholic Episcopacy in England in 1850.
Description
2 identical anti-Catholic satirical posters relating a mock fight between Rev. Cumming and Cardinal Wiseman, Archbishop of Westminster, in which Cumming is reported to have beaten the Cardial 'to a mummy'.
