| Description | Series of 20 soft covered notebooks, numbered 1-20 and marked with dates on covers from "Christmas 1966" to "Finis Hutton 17/6/73". Book numbered 20 is also labelled "1 VCC" (Vienna Community Church) and contains some sermon notes, Orders of Service written for VCC and dated up to 7/10/73. Locations noted on covers include Aberdeen, Hutton and VCC.
There are also notations on covers indicating special sermons contained in the particular notebook. Notebooks contain handwritten sermons, Orders of Service and other notes, mostly in ink in Macartney's hand. Some sermons are titled and dated. Some marked as preached again later at a wide variety of different locations, mostly in Scotland.
