DescriptionLetter to Susan Gordon from her brother Francis, Copenhagen, apologising for long gap in letters, reporting good health of their brothers in St Croix, explaining the grounds of the quarrel between their brother Alexander and a doctor named Moir, which was to do with a prominent patient and their brother Andrew’s diagnosis and treatment of him, Moir’s malice has prevented Alexander from doing business, offering to pay his debt to Susan in tea, sugar or India goods, perhaps to be collected by a captain from Aberdeen who sails to Copenhagen, glad to hear that Uncle George now lives with them, 25 April 1768
