| Description | Sir James’ daughter Mary married Sir William Shee, who died c.1897. They had a son, Henry Gordon Shee, who died in 1909, and his son Patrick Gordon Shee inherited Letterfourie, though not the baronetcy, and moved there in 1911. He seems to have served in the First World War (the estate was run by a firm of lawyers from 1915 to 1919, when Patrick Shee took back control. |
