DescriptionTwo letters to James Gordon of Letterfourie from Alexander Grant of Tochineal, Cullen, delighted to hear he is safely in Britain, Logies and Mr Duff are well, dealings with a loan to Sir Ludovick Grant, news of Tam, his son, who went to Barbados to a position which was no longer available when he got there, Rannie has sent linen to Aberdeen for Gordon, 3 October 1760; letter to cover receipt for parcel of linen from Mungo Rannie, business with Sir Ludovick Grant, tenants slow to pay rent, hoping Gordon will be pleased, Logie will not do things agreeably, Tam has asked for money, Cairnfield’s eldest son is married to Tannachie’s youngest sister, 30 January 1761
