DescriptionLetter to Alexander Gordon, Letterfourie, from his brother James, London, hoping the grass seeds he has sent to Findhorn will not arrive too late, the seedsman will not sent acorns as he says they are not fit any month but November, various bills, dispatch of flax and herrings, arrangements with Fowler, whom he says he trusts, news of Colonel Monro being posted to Madras, news of nephew Patrick Duff arriving safely at Madras but his wife dying two days later, 19 April 1777
