Kosterlitz was presented with his award by Professor Ulli Trendelenburg, Chairman of the Institute of Pharmacology of the University of Wurzburg and President of the German Society of Pharmacology, at an awards ceremony in Aberdeen, 18 May 1976. Whilst in Aberdeen, Professor Trendelenburg took in a brief tour of Kosterlitz's Department. |
