Administrative History	The British Opioid Colloquium is a forum for scientific discussions on all aspects of opioid research. It was formed in 1985 following discussions amongst members of the British Pharmacological Society regarding the need for a discussion group in this growing, but specialised area of pharmacological research.
Description	Correspondence file with the British Opioid Colloquium, principally containing personal correspondence and circular communications regarding meetings of the Colloquium. Includes correspondence regarding formation of the Colloquium, 1985 - 1986 and programmes for meetings held at the University of Cambridge, 22 - 23 March 1990 and 8 - 9 April 1991.
