Title | Letter from Rear-Admiral Sir Thomas Louis to the General |
Date | April 28th 1807 |
Description | Saying he would follow the instructions about passes for vessels sailing for supplies. His reading of the Albanian Chiefs' letter was that they had probably had enough. He doubts whether they would attempt to cross the lake though 'HMS Apollo' would not be able to do much if they did. Fearing the arrival off the coast of French or Turkish ships he must be careful not to impair his fighting capacity by further deploying his already depleted ships companies. |
